Complete renovation 150 m2 - Vincennes
The house had become too big for them. Their two eldest children had left home. They found themselves alone in 150m² of poorly designed space: empty volumes, lack of storage, spaces that no longer worked. They wanted to stay in Vincennes, but the place no longer suited them.
The kitchen was too small to accommodate the whole family. The parents' shower room was ageing and no longer met their needs. And above all, those unused square metres were gathering dust.
Their idea: to convert part of the bungalow into a self-contained 3-room apartment that they could rent out on a seasonal basis or give to their children and grandchildren when they visit. Staying close to each other without suffering from overcrowding. To make the most of the space so that it can be put to good use.
We have redesigned the pavilion around two focal points.
The parents' area Family kitchen with central island in white Calacatta marble over 3 metres long, double washbasin and integrated extractor hood. Designed for entertaining and cooking together. The shower room has been completely redesigned: duck blue terracotta floor tiles, raised white tiles, light wood. Sleek, minimalist and functional.
The independent T3 Two personalised bedrooms with built-in wardrobes for suitcases and clothes. Two bathrooms in black and white mosaic with touches of blue and pink - the parents' favourite colours. A fully equipped kitchen. All the luxury you need to welcome your family or travellers with dignity.
Result: the children and grandchildren come more often. Everyone has found their place with grandma and grandpa.
Two spaces. One family reunited.
